El Teatro Fernán Gómez – Centro Cultural de la Villa celebra el legado de quien da nombre a su escenario con La aventura de la palabra, una propuesta íntima y poética que lleva por primera vez a escena el discurso de ingreso de Fernando Fernán Gómez en la Real Academia Española.
Considerado por académicos y críticos como uno de los discursos más brillantes pronunciados en la RAE, este texto se convierte ahora en materia teatral bajo la dirección de Juan Carlos Pérez de la Fuente, quien también lidera la dirección artística del teatro. “Este montaje encarna los valores esenciales de nuestro proyecto: libertad, palabra y memoria”, afirma.
La versión y dramaturgia de Raúl Losánez pone el foco en el tema central del discurso: la palabra, en su dimensión escrita, hablada y emocional. El montaje recrea una noche imaginaria en la que Fernán Gómez ensaya, duda y se enfrenta a sus fantasmas, en un viaje onírico que despoja al mito de solemnidad para acercarnos al hombre y al artista.
Interpretado por Nancho Novo y Marta Poveda, el espectáculo se presenta en el 25º aniversario de la entrada de Fernán Gómez en la Academia, y es una producción del Teatro Fernán Gómez en colaboración con la Compañía del Figurín.The Fernán Gómez Theater – Centro Cultural de la Villa celebrates the legacy of the man whose stage is named after with The Adventure of the Word, an intimate and poetic proposal that brings to the stage Fernando Fernán Gómez’s entrance speech at the Royal Spanish Academy for the first time.
Considered by academics and critics as one of the most brilliant speeches given in the RAE, this text now becomes theatrical material under the direction of Juan Carlos Pérez de la Fuente, who also leads the artistic direction of the theater. “This montage embodies the essential values of our project: freedom, word and memory,” he says.
Raúl Losánez’s version and dramaturgy puts the focus on the central theme of the speech: the word, in its written, spoken and emotional dimension. The montage recreates an imaginary night in which Fernán Gómez rehearses, doubts and faces his ghosts, in a dreamlike journey that strips the myth of solemnity to bring us closer to the man and the artist.
Performed by Nancho Novo and Marta Poveda, the show is presented on the 25th anniversary of Fernán Gómez’s entry into the Academy, and is a production of the Teatro Fernán Gómez in collaboration with the Compañía del Figurín.
