Two weeks ago, the streets of several towns near Valencia such as Paiporta, Massanassa, and Algemesí were covered by a blanket of unstoppable water, destroying everything in its path. DANA left behind a desolate panorama: houses drowned in mud, vehicles turned into piles of mud and streets that, instead of people, now house waste and debris that the water carried away.
However, in the midst of so much disaster, an unstoppable force emerged that shines even brighter than the tragedy: solidarity. Young people, neighbors and volunteers have arrived to clean the streets, repair what they can, and help those who have lost everything. The army, police and volunteers work side by side, sharing not only the physical labor, but the commitment to return peace and hope to each town.
Every shovel filled with mud, every car pulled from the road, and every street cleared is a step toward rebuilding, a testament to the power of a united community. In the midst of the devastation, there has been no distinction between ages or professions; They all have the same mission: save and support their neighbors, rise together. Because although the water has tried to erase the traces of these towns, the spirit of those who live there remains intact and firm, ready to rebuild everything with more strength and more heart.

Hace dos semanas, las calles de varios pueblos cercanos a Valencia como Paiporta, Massanassa, y Algemesí fueron cubiertas por un manto de agua imparable, arrasando con todo a su paso. DANA dejó tras de sí un panorama desolador: casas anegadas en fango, vehículos convertidos en montones de barro y calles que, en lugar de personas, ahora alojan desechos y escombros que el agua arrastró.
Sin embargo, entre tanto desastre, surgió una fuerza imparable que brilla incluso más que la tragedia: la solidaridad. Gente joven, vecinos y voluntarios han llegado para limpiar las calles, reparar lo posible, y ayudar a quienes lo han perdido todo. El ejército, la policía y los voluntarios trabajan codo a codo, compartiendo no solo la labor física, sino el compromiso de devolverle a cada pueblo la paz y la esperanza.
Cada pala llena de barro, cada coche sacado del cauce, y cada calle despejada es un paso hacia la reconstrucción, un testimonio del poder que tiene una comunidad unida. En medio de la devastación, no ha habido distinción de edades ni de profesiones; todos tienen la misma misión: salvar y apoyar a sus vecinos, levantarse juntos. Porque aunque el agua haya intentado borrar las huellas de estos pueblos, el espíritu de quienes los habitan sigue intacto y firme, dispuesto a reconstruirlo todo con más fuerza y más corazón.
